 The Citizens Association of South Bowie (CASB) is a volunteer civic organization   committed to addressing the needs of the South Bowie communities. We were founded in 1998 by concerned residents and homeowners in the southern most part of the City of Bowie.

Purpose and Goals

  • Inform residents and express opinions on issues impacting the city and the South Bowie communities.

  • Become more aware and knowledgeable of the issues regarding development and its effects on the environment and well being of the community.

  • Advise and make recommendations to the Bowie City Council, Prince George's County and the State of Maryland on matters of concern.

Don't forget to vote Feb. 12.

You need to fill out a form to get your Homestead Tax Credit this year. It can be found at www.dat.state.md.us

Here are two more dates to mark on your calendar. The Bowie City council will hold its hearing on the plan for the library on February 4, 2008 at 8:00 P.M.  Also, The County Executive Public Budget Hearing will be held Feb. 21, at the Largo Community College in the Rennie Forum at 8:00 PM.
